With Election Day over, the Judicial Branch now turns to introducing itself to new senators who will be sworn in come January. The Branch has long had a program where judges and probation staff provide an opportunity for senators to visit the courthouse and learn about court process and Branch programs.  Presiding judges with new senators are in the process of being contacted to serve as hosts for new senator visits. 

There has been little legislative activity outside of the special session this last summer. The 2025 session is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
