New Veterans Treatment Court Discussed with Hall County Board

Judge Ryan Carson of the 9th Judicial District presented the Court’s plan for a Veterans Treatment Court to serve Hall and Buffalo Counties.

According to a February 3, 2021, article in the Grand Island Daily Independent, the Court has reached out to the local jail populations to find out current veterans involved in the justice system. In a statement to the commissioners Carson noted, “The community cares about our veterans and wants to see our veterans succeed.”  He continued, “Certainly, through involvement in the military, through active combat; for example, there are a host of issues veterans have to deal with.”
