A new initiative, the 'Interpreter Certification Pathway,' has been developed to empower and assist bilingual individuals in pursuing a career as a Nebraska Judicial Branch interpreter.  The comprehensive pathway seeks to address the process of certification in its entirety to increase the number and language diversity of certified and provisionally certified interpreters.  The multi-faceted pathway includes not only Orientation, written and oral exams, but skill building, lending libraries, provisional certification, and continuing education units. 

Employees and members of the legal community are encouraged to share information about the certification process with all bilingual individuals.
