The Office of Dispute Resolution (ODR) has published its Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Report. The annual report provides an overview of mediation and restorative justice in Nebraska, including services provided by the approved mediation centers, and highlights a case in which restorative justice was used for a truancy case that was referred by a county attorney. The annual report also provides aggregate case statistics for all case types from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, and concludes with challenges and recommendations for statewide mediation and restorative justice.
