The Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution issued its Annual Report at the August 18, 2017 annual meeting of the ODR-approved mediation centers and the Dispute Resolution Advisory Council, chaired by Mike Pirtle, Judge, Nebraska Court of Appeals. Director Debora Denny thanked the six mediation center executive directors for their combined work in serving the courts, probation, and the communities across the state. Court referrals to parenting mediation, child welfare facilitation, juvenile justice conferencing and small claims amount to 55% of the 4,072 cases closed during FY 16-17.
