The Office of Public Guardian recently provided training on guardianship and conservatorship to two human services organizations, one in Norfolk and one in Grand Island. The training covered the basics of guardianship and conservatorship, including duties to the Court, duties to Wards/Protected Persons, models of decision-making and the elements of informed consent. Providing key stakeholders with training and information is vital in building a stronger understanding of guardianship and conservatorship in Nebraska.
