Yesica has proven to be an invaluable resource to the juveniles and families assigned to her for supervision. Her case work is exemplary and often goes far beyond expectations. She supervises a caseload of high-risk youth in an efficient and comprehensive manner. She is respected by attorneys and judges for her professional demeanor. She interacts well with her peers, professional service providers, parents, foster parents, and youth assigned to her.

Her ability to arrange services for juveniles experiencing addiction or a mental health crisis often requires her to go beyond the standard measure of performance of a typical probation officer. She takes an active role on the Family Engagement Committee and assisted in the rewrite of the District Process Manual.

She acts as a mentor to her co-workers and is always ready to serve as the need arises for anyone needing her services as a Spanish-speaking bilingual employee.
