A swearing-in ceremony for Pam Cardenas, new Douglas County Judicial Administrator, was held January 4, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Civic Center. Presiding Judge Marcela Keim hosted the ceremony. 

Her appointment was effective October 2, 2023. Cardenas also served as Acting Judicial Administrator since late June 2023.  She has over 20 years of work relating to the court system, most recently serving as Deputy Clerk of the Douglas County District Court.  She comes to the position with extensive leadership experience within the courts.
