Probation Officer Derek Berg, Papillon, received the 2022 Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Hero Award.  
 
He was selected for the award due to his passion in working with individuals placed on probation for repeat DUIs. Berg is also actively involved in the community and goes above and beyond to find resources for individuals on probation.
 
 Berg was presented the award on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the MADD awards ceremony.
