Public Guardian and Police Protect Man with Dementia

Janelle Cantu, Associate Public Guardian with the Office of Public Guardian, was recently featured in the Omaha World Herald for her work in obtaining urgently needed services for one of the wards in her care. Ms. Cantu was assisted by Omaha Police Office Ruteena Alcantara. Office Alcantara took seriously the imminent risk of harm and made it possible for the man to receive life-saving care.
