During the November ceremony of the Southeast Nebraska Adult Drug Court (SENADC), Drug Court graduate Mr. Casey Viger was presented with the 1st Annual Shi Adler Character Achievement Award.  The award was created in memory of Mr. Shi Adler, a participant in the drug court who passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2019.   Adler served as a significant role model for Viger who graduated on November 18, 2019.  The Shi Adler Character Achievement Award will be presented to future graduates who succeed in changing the people, places and things that promoted previous criminal thinking and behavior. Adler’s wife and fellow drug court participant, Lisa, presented the award to Viger during the graduation.
