Strong Sworn-in as Adult Probation Chief in Omaha
Damon Strong, new Chief Probation Officer for adult probation in the Fourth Judicial District (Omaha), was sworn-in Friday, January 15, 2021, by Presiding Judge Horacio Wheelock.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many attendees participated virtually. Those in the courtroom were State Probation Administrator Deb Minardi, Deputy Administrator and Mentor to Strong, Bob Denton, and Strong’s immediate family members.
The ceremony offered a unique opportunity for probation staff across the state to attend via live streaming.
Strong replaces former Fourth Judicial District Chief Probation Officer Tim Sprakel, who retired in March 2020.
