Successful Transition from Problem-Solving Court to Curator of Thrift Boutique: Cynthia Canann’s Inspiring Journey

Midwest Nebraska Problem-Solving Court (PSC) is excited to share the incredible success story of Cynthia Canann, a former participant in the Midwest Nebraska PSC in North Platte.  Canann embarked on a remarkable journey and has now transitioned to the role of Curator at the Salvation Army Thrift Boutique in Omaha.  Her inspiring transformation serves as a testament to the power of determination and the potential for positive change.

Throughout her time in treatment, Canann’s growth and progress flourished. She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to her recovery and, as a result, experienced significant personal and professional development.  Graduating from the PSC Program marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, one filled with purpose and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Since completing the program, Canann has emerged as a leader within the sober community. Her dedication to sobriety and her passion for helping others has propelled her to take on meaningful roles in her community. She now serves as a chairperson for meetings, actively participates in peer support groups, and is a valuable asset to those around her.

Canann is commended for her accomplishments and commended for her for her determination and resilience throughout her journey. Her success inspires others who may be facing similar challenges and highlights the transformative potential of problem-solving courts.
