The Wayne County Clerk of the District Court, Deb Allemann-Dannelly, will retire on September 8, 2023, concluding over 20 years of dedicated service with the district court.

She was elected in November 2002 and assumed office in January 2003, maintaining the position throughout her tenure. Known for fostering strong relationships with the Judges and staff, Allemann-Dannelly will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor, commitment to fulfilling her statutory responsibilities, and willingness to assist other District Court Clerks.

In her retirement, she plans to enjoy quilting and leisure time with family and friends.
