Associate Public Guardian Michelle Moore Earns National Certification

Michelle Moore, Associate Public Guardian serving Central Nebraska is the first Office of Public Guardian staff to attain national certification through the National Center for Guardianship Certification program. 

In order to become certified, an individual must have served as a guardian for two years; meet stringent back ground and character requirements; attended between 10-30 hours of coursework prior to application (depending on the level of earned high Ed degree); and pass a national certification test.  To maintain certification an individual must take 10 CEU each year and apply for recertification every two years.
