Assignments of Error on Appeal: Appellant alleges that he received ineffective assistance of trial counsel when counsel failed to file a motion to suppress statements he made at the time of his arrest; failed to recall the State’s primary witness against Appellant concerning the veracity of his testimony; failed to call either alibi witnesses or other witnesses of the shooting to testify; failed to suppress evidence of marijuana found in Appellant’s mother’s home; and failed to have Appellant’s mental health evaluated prior to trial.
