Proceedings Below: Appellant brought suit against Appellee in April 2020. After Appellee filed its answer, Appellant filed a motion for summary judgment and set the matter for hearing. Prior to the hearing, Appellee also filed a motion for summary judgment. Following a hearing held on the summary judgment requests, the district court sustained Appellee’s motion for summary judgment, overruled Appellant’s motion for summary judgment, and dismissed Appellant’s complaint.
Issues on Appeal: Whether the district court erred in 1) overruling Appellant’s motion for summary judgment; and 2) in sustaining Appellee’s motion for summary judgment.
