Proceedings Below: On September 27, 2017, the trial court entered a decree of dissolution of marriage which dissolved the parties’ marriage, divided property and debts, awarded joint legal and physical custody of the parties’ two children, and incorporated a parenting plan with child support. On December 26, 2017, the trial court overruled motions by the Appellant for a new trial and to alter or amend the decree.
Issues: Whether the trial court erred in 1) assuming Appellant was entitled to Appellee’s retirement benefits as a divorced spouse; 2) awarding attorney fees to the appellee; 3) awarding joint custody; and 4) how it allocated expenses.
