Proceedings Below: Following their divorce, Lori filed a contempt action against Terry for failing to comply with various terms of their divorce decree. Shortly thereafter, Terry filed a contempt action against Lori for the same reason. The district court determined that Terry was in contempt of court, but dismissed Terry's contempt action against Lori. It entered judgment against Terry for $12,865.22 plus interest and sentenced him to 6 months in jail for contempt, but allowed him to purge the sentence by paying $1,500 per month until the judgment is paid in full.
Issues: Terry asserts the district court erred in (1) failing to find Lori in contempt of court; (2) finding Terry in contempt of court; and (3) ordering Terry to pay Lori's attorney fees in connection with the contempt action.
