Proceedings below: Following a bench trial, a permanent conservator was appointed for Appellant. Appellee filed a Petition to Bypass the Court of Appeals which was granted by the Nebraska Supreme Court.
Issue: The trial court erred in 1) finding Appellant had a mental deficiency and/or a physical disability that prevented her from managing her property and property affairs, 2) finding Appellant had such a deficiency that disabled her from managing her property, and 3) finding Appellant had property that would be wasted or dissipated unless a permanent conservator was appointed for her.
