Proceedings Below: Upon motion by the guardian ad litem, the trial court found the Department of Health and Human Services (“DHHS”), in contempt of a lower court order. The trial court created a purge plan for DHHS. After paying the $5,000 fine, the trial court found the November 19, 2020 contempt order was purged. The guardian ad litem appeals.
Issues on Appeal: Whether the juvenile court erred in 1) finding the contempt order of November 19, 2020 was satisfied; 2) not reinstating the purge plan until the contempt was cured by DHHS.
