Proceedings below: Appellant was convicted of two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child and one count of child abuse. He was sentenced to consecutive terms of three-years in prison for each third-degree sexual assault of a child conviction and a concurrent, two-year prison term for child abuse. On its own motion, the Nebraska Supreme Court ordered this case to be transferred from the docket of the Nebraska Court of Appeals to its docket.
