Proceedings Below: Following an evidentiary hearing, the district court granted Appellee’s motion to transfer the case to juvenile court.
Issues: 1) The district court abused its discretion in transferring Appellee to juvenile court without first reading and considering the police reports related to the investigation of the crimes charges, 2) the district court abused its discretion in transferring Appellee to juvenile court by not sufficiently making the required findings pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 43-276, and 3) a sound basis existed for retaining the matter in District Court and denying the motion to transfer to juvenile court.
