Dacia began mediating at The Mediation Center in 2016. Since then, she has worked on a variety of cases, including: small claims; pre-hearing conferences; restorative justice; and family group conferences. To date, her focus has been primarily on cases associated with child welfare.
Professionally, Dacia now works as a legislative lobbyist. From 2002 through 2011, Dacia worked on state issues at the Greater Omaha Chamber. Following her work at the Omaha Chamber, she was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Services; a position she held for three years. In 2014 she was appointed to serve as Acting Director of the Department of Economic Development by then-governor Heineman.
