David A. Hubbard, J.D. is the Director of the Conciliation Court for Douglas County District Court in Omaha Nebraska. As Director, David facilitates and mediates Parenting Plans and Parenting Plan modifications, teaches parenting education classes and advanced mediator workshops. Additionally, David provides Restorative Justice processes, facilitating Victim Offender Dialogues for the District Court’s Young Adult Court and Veteran’s Treatment Court.
 

Previously, in 2003, David was approved as a Douglas County District Court Local Rule 4.3(E) panel mediator, and then as a federal mediator by the United States District Court. In February of 2004 David was designated as a Master Mediator by the Nebraska Justice Center. From 2005 to 2017 David served as the Director of Facilitation and Training at The Mediation Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

These experiences provided opportunities to teach at The Werner Institute at Creighton Law School, University of Nebraska at Omaha, Nebraska Supreme Court’s Office of Dispute Resolution, Nebraska Mediation Association, Nebraska State and American Bar Associations. From 2005 through 2017 David team taught the 4 credit hour mediation class and later taught family mediation as an adjunct professor at the University Of Nebraska College Of Law.
