Sharyl Schaepe

I retired from federal service after 39 years of service with the US Department of Veterans Affairs in January of 2015. Within the Department of Veterans Affairs, I spent my last 25 years of service serving as a senior regional communications specialist specializing in public affairs, media relations, congressional affairs, customer service, patient advocacy, and mentoring. In 2003, I completed basic mediation training to assist employees and veterans resolve agency disputes. In 2013 and 2014, I furthered my training by completing basic and family mediation training offered by Nebraska Mediation Association. In October of 2014, I affiliated with The Mediation Center in Lincoln and successfully completed training and apprenticeship hours to meet ODR requirements for mediating alternative dispute resolutions, conflicts, parenting plans, and restorative justice conferences. I am currently affiliated with mediation centers in Lincoln and Beatrice.
