February 22, 2018, Application Deadline Set for Separate Juvenile Court Judge Vacancy, Douglas County
LINCOLN -- According to Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael G. Heavican, the Judicial Nominating Commission for Separate Juvenile Court Judge in Douglas County will hold a public hearing in Courtroom #501 at the Douglas County Courthouse in Omaha, Nebraska, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018. The primary place of office for the judicial vacancy is Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. At the hearing, the Commission will receive information on the qualifications of candidates to fill the vacancy in the office of Separate Juvenile Court Judge due to the retirement of Judge Wadie Thomas effective January 31, 2018.
The public is welcome to attend the hearing and present information concerning candidates for the judicial opening.
