Young, Grand Island, have submitted applications for appointment as Supreme Court Judge in the 5th Judicial District. The vacancy is due to retirement of Judge William M. Connolly. The public hearing of the Judicial Nominating Commission will be held in the District Courtroom at the York County Courthouse, 510 Lincoln Avenue, in York, Nebraska, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
