I retired from federal service after 39 years of service with the US Department of Veterans Affairs in January of 2015. Originally from the Kearney area, I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 2011 and my master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Oklahoma in 2019. During my graduate research I focused on criminal justice reform, including restorative justice and offender rehabilitation.  I have experience in non-profit, as I worked for the Oklahoma State University Foundation for five years, as well as experience with offenders, as I was the Local Administrator for Community Sentencing, a diversion program for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, I am the Executive Director for Central Mediation Center located in Kearney, Nebraska.
