I am a long-time attorney who retired from the practice of law in 2022. I received Basic Mediation Training & Parenting Act Training in the summer of 2016. Since then, I have mediated many Parenting Act and divorce cases while affiliated with the Mediation Center in Lincoln.

Grounded in the knowledge that all is connected and the how matters as much as the what, I meet my clients with presence and trust. I hold a BA in psychology and Spanish from Creighton University, an MA in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Creighton University, along with certifications in Mindfulness and Yoga.

I have been affiliated with Concord Mediation Center since Fall of 2022, where I serve as a Parenting Plan Mediator and a surrogate for Youth Conferencing. In my private practice I offer nature based workshops, conflict coaching, communication training, and empowerment circles. Before my mediation and facilitation work, I was a teacher of Spanish, yoga, and mindfulness.
 

Charles Valle holds an Master’s Degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Creighton University, Juris Doctorate from the Universidad Catolica de Cuenca, Ecuador. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He is devoted entirely to providing alternative dispute resolution services (primarily mediation), to clients who seek a non-adversarial, problem-solving approach to conflict resolution that allows them to keep in control of their case.

Committed to making the mediation process more cooperative and respectful, as well as more cost-effective, he endeavors to treat every client as if they were his only client.

Karen L . Vervaecke has successfully engaged in the practice of law for over 30 years. She specializes in and is passionate about Family Law but also has extensive experience in Criminal Law, Elder Law, mediating construction related disputes, residential foreclosures, and landlord tenant law. She has been a mediator since 1993 and is considered a Nebraska Parenting Act Mediator and a High Conflict (SADR) mediator. She received Omaha Magazine’s Best of Omaha award in 2021 for her successes as a divorce mediator and she continues to excel in the field.

Lynn began mediating with The Mediation Center in January of 2021. She has focused primarily on family cases and has also worked on several victim-offender conferences as part of TMC's restorative justice program. Lynn has been in education since she graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1978. Since then, she has received two Masters degrees in Education: the first in Special Education in 1995; the second in Educational Leadership in 2007. Lynn has worked with elementary school-aged children since the beginning of her career. More recently, she has been using her training and expertise to help children and families in a variety of ways, including support for young adults aging out of the foster care system, arranging shelter for single parent immigrant families, and promoting awareness of human trafficking and children in poverty. changed to Lynn began mediating with The Mediation Center in January of 2021. Brenda began work in mediation in 2020. She has worked on various types of mediation including, parenting plan cases, organization mediation, and child welfare. During her time working at Mediation West, she has grown to have great respect for the mediation process and the resulting non-arbitration-based results when clients actively participate.

Independent Mediator at Integrated Options. I have more than 20 years of experience working with families and children. I'm passionate about the possibilities of mediation for families and value the opportunity to assist them in addressing their needs for the future through the process of mediation. I meet the requirements set forth by the Office of Dispute Resolution to be considered an approved Parenting Act Mediator.  

Originally from the Kearney area, I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 2011 and my master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Oklahoma in 2019. During my graduate research I focused on criminal justice reform, including restorative justice and offender rehabilitation.  I have experience in non-profit, as I worked for the Oklahoma State University Foundation for five years, as well as experience with offenders, as I was the Local Administrator for Community Sentencing, a diversion program for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, I am the Executive Director for Central Mediation Center located in Kearney, Nebraska.

 

I have been an attorney (Creighton Law) for almost 40 years.  I have significant litigation experience and have represented clients in complex cases of various types across the country – about 50-75 of which have involved mediation.   I have legal expertise in contract law, insurance law, securities law, employment law, tort law, and administrative law.   I am also an approved FINRA arbitrator. 

I have been a trained mediator for 3+ years.  I am also an ODR-approved Parenting Plan mediator. I total I have mediator about 75+.  I am available to mediate in-person or via Zoom, any place in Southeast Nebraska, including Omaha and Lincoln.  I may be contacted through the 2 Centers with which I am affiliated or can be contacted directly.

Justin Williams currently works and resides in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He has been an approved mediator since August 2005. Since then, Justin has mediated numerous cases ranging from: farm credit, family estate disputes, neighbor neighbor, and numerous workplace conflict cases. In addition to his traditional mediation portfolio, Justin mediates parenting act cases in Western Nebraska.

Justin hold a B.S. degree in International Agriculture Economics and an M.S. degree in Agriculture Business, both from the University of Wyoming. 

Liz Wollmann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Mediator based in Omaha, Nebraska. Liz received a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Nebraska – Omaha in 2007. She gained clinical experience while working for over twenty years in the child welfare, behavioral health, and developmental disabilities service systems in Nebraska. Liz opened her private practice in 2022 and currently works with adults and couples as a Mental Health Therapist. Liz is a trained Discernment Counselor and also conducts Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities as an Independent Provider with DHHS. 

I was trained in Basic Mediation in the fall of 2021. I started work in Small Claims Court once a month until I retired. I took the Family Mediation training in November 2022 and started work as a parenting plan mediator after that.

I have done roughly 25 Small Claims Court mediations and 30 parenting plan/separation of property/parenting plan modifications since 2023.

I worked as a Librarian all of my professional career.
